In a dramatic round of 16 match in Budapest, Netherlands lost to Czech Republic in 2-0 score , after De Ligt got red card and Holland reduced to 10 men. Czech will meet Denmark in quarter final at Baku on 3 July 2021. 

Soucek and men were playing carefully against a comparatively strong Netherlands team, who came to the round as a favorites. Czech were playing 4-2-3-1 against 3-4-1-2 of Holland. As expected, they were dominating. It wasnt too late after Malen missed a 1 on 1 chance with Goal keeper, but Malen missed it awkwardly, and he must be carrying it in mind for a long time. In 68', Czech took lead from a free kick. Schick scored his fourth goal, from a snatched ball from lazy Holland captain Wijnaldum, assisted by Holes. Schick tapped ball past keeper at first post. 

It felt like Holland took the match too easily in the beginning. Dumphries was playing a super man role, was phenomenal everywhere. He was stopping Czech attacks and creating chances at other end, unstoppable. He also stopped a shot , which looked a goal. But, Holland couldn't even record a shot on target. 

Now we will be having a very interesting quarter final match at Baku, with 2 surprise teams meet there.
