Dolberg brace help Denmark thrash Wales
Wales was totally undone by Denmark in the first round of 16 match at Amsterdam. Maehle and Braithwaite scored other goals for Denmark. They scored 8 goals in last 2 matches and seems completely out of shock of unfortunate moments from their first match. Wales couldn't do much after first 20 minutes of good defending. Bale had a good shot in the first half, but went wide of target. They had just one shot on target, even with 47 Percentage possession.
Denamrk used an attacking 3-4-2-1 and Wales 4-2-3-1. They started without Poulsen, but team were looking very organised at attack and defence. Denmark will be waiting to meet Holland or Czech Republic in their next round match. Wilson got red card in the match and Denmark captain Skjaer looked injured and left field in the second half. Denmark fans will be looking for more advancement from the team with this kind of performance, their best being champions in 1992.
Earlier, Wales attacks were mainly from Bale, James of Liverpool and Aaron Ramsey. Denmark stood strong as Christensen and Skjaer were wrll organised. Denmark midfield outclassed Wales marginally.
