In an astonishing match, Spain started in their usual way of tiki-taka. They started with a free kick in the very first minute of play. But, Sneijder missed a one on one chance with Casillas in the 8th min, hitting on Casillas. With game growing, Spain enjoyed possessing ball and their short passes. Iniesta, Silva, Xavi combined well to irritate Dutch defense. Spain started with Costa, who suffered big boos from crowd when ever touched ball. Now, Spain was starting to lose control of the game, with Sneijder and Robben getting more possession. Robben showed his class in the 53rd min, to make it 2-1. Again, Blind's ball into the box, aiming Robben, who was in between Pique and Ramos, controlled it fabulously, before turning the other way, and netting the ball. A back pass was tapped with a little overweight, which went far from his reach, was attacked by Van Persie and he scored. (72').Spain got a freekick in the 75th min, Ramos taking it and delivering wide off goal. While Spain trying harder to make the score line more comfortable, Robben again showed why he is dangerous. A counter attacking long ball, which went far ahead for Pique and Robben, both sprinted for the ball. Robben really showing his athletisism, flied to get the ball, ran towards goal, where Casillas was ready to block him. But, Robben turned the other way with the ball, in a unbelievable move, by which Casillas was fell behind, took his time to make sure that the ball reaches the net.(5-1, 80'min).
